Obakki Mania...

I know I've written about Obakki before, but seriously every single time I walk into their gastown store, I fall in love with every. single. piece. So when I heard about their warehouse sale through this lovely little site called I love sample sales, I sprinted over immediately (I literally jogged over I was so excited). And sure enough, it was pure Obakki heaven! I picked up four amazing silk tops that all kinda, sorta look the same (stick with what works right?) and a gorgeous maxi dress that is begging to be worn immediately and I probably could have spent a hell of a lot more money but forcefully restrained myself. Today was the last day of the sale which makes this post somewhat pointless but I guess I just wanted to brag a bit about my amazing purchases (such a bitch!) and tell you to make sure you get your cute little bum to the next one!

The old man sweater...

I have a slight issue that involves me wearing way too many over sized, unflattering, shapeless pieces that resemble a mans wardrobe. I've stepped it up a notch recently with my new obsession of old man sweaters. Now I'm not even talking about ladies sweaters that somewhat resemble your grampa's, I'm talking about sweaters that I actually find in the men's department that should only be worn by men over the age of 65... I think I need help.

I apologize for the horrificness of that title but if I had millions of dollars I'd be loading up on millions of mohair sweaters and if I didn't have millions of dollars I'd very uneconomically still be buying millions of mohair sweaters (which is exactly what I'm doing....)

It's just too damn cozy to say no to.

Tall schmall...

90% of the time I'm forced to wear high heels because of my disgustingly low proximity to the ground (I'm 5' 1" on a good day) but every now and then I like to switch it up and throw on a cute pair of flats, comfy flip flops or in this case, a pair of flat motorcycle boots...

And even though I'm reminded of how short I really am when I wear these, they have a toughness to them that make me feel a little feistier than normal!

(I dare someone to call me shorty!!)
