Kimono krazed...
I'm known to have many fashion obsessions on the go, but at this very second, I'm all about the kimono style cover-up. It's a tad too nippy to be wearing these ones below that I want so badly but give me a few weeks and the kimonos will be out in full force!

What a gem!
I actually did it, after 10 years of living in Vancouver and 18 apartments later, I found my perfect place! It definitely wouldn't be anyone else's perfect place, but it's such a lovely gem to me. It's in a very old heritage building on South Granville and it's just oozing charm. I can't decide what I love most about it; Is it the old school radiator that a previous renter fabulously turned into a much needed book shelf.... 
Or is it the very dainty looking tiles in my bathtub...
Or is it the old and extremely tacky lime green fridge...
Or is it the little heritage building details like my brass door knobs...
Maybe it's the diner style checkered black and white kitchen floors which I've
always wanted in an apartment...
Or the little cubby by the door that was used for milk deliveries...
But it most likely is my lovely closet which used to hold quite a large murphy bed...
And now holds by ever expanding wardrobe!
If I had to pick one pair of suede wedge booties...
Would it be these gorgeous Rag & Bone suede wedge booties...?

I call it the blazigan...
Or I guess or could call it the cardzer... But whatever you choose to call it, it's genius. I am absolutely in love with this cardigan/blazer hybrid for it's versatility as the perfect spring jacket and how it has the flowiness and comfort of a cardigan and the 'dressyupness' of a blazer. (Yup, I just made up a word!)

Vancouver you rock...

And an abundance of lovely cherry blossoms...
And beautiful tree lined streets...
And gorgeous days like this...
And random but fab art installations...
And scenic beaches to watch couples make out in the sand (like the frisky couple in the right corner)...
And a city where you can ski, go for a hike, shop in the city, tan on the beach
and go for a boat ride all in one day
(If days had 50 hours in them)...
And cute little neighborhood coffee shops...
And a crap load of rain that we try and ignore.
(It's a good thing we forgive pretty easily...)

I need a colour pick-me-up...
After yesterdays ridiculously unwanted snowfall, I've decided to screw the crappy, grey weather all together and start embracing Spring with my wardrobe choices. Now I'm fully aware that if I start wearing open toed sandals with black ice on the ground, I may get locked up in the loony bin, but I can still sport some bright, cheerful accessories and pray that Spring is right behind me...
