Stone love...

It's no surprise that my love of bold and unique jewelry teeters on the side of crazy obsession, so when I discovered these fabulous gems, it honestly felt like winning the lottery (so sad). Inspired by the beauty of nature, Dara Ettinger has created a line of jewelry using stones, wood and minerals with the loveliest gold and silver settings. Now available online through Urban Outfitters, the line is bold, perfectly unperfected and incredibly unique.

A little holiday fashion preview..

Urban Outfitters has been kind enough to give us a preview of their upcoming Holiday items, all of which I want faster than I can say shortbread and mimosas! Bring on the mistletoe (and none of that gross slushy, wet half snow...)

Lanvin + H&M = obsession...

I don't think I've been this excited about fashion since I opened the pages of my first Vogue many, many eons ago. It's going to be pure fashion mayhem all across North America on November 20th when the Lanvin/H&M collaboration line is unveiled. Until then, I will be drooling over the designs via promotional video being released November 2nd and these first precious advertisement photos...

Ladies get your claws out, it's going to be a scary scene November 2oth...

Cape Crusader...

This Fall and Winter I'm channeling my inner Andre Leon Talley/Batman/Nacho Libre and have decided to only wear fabulous cape coats! They are cozy (almost as good as a snuggie...), ridiculously stylish and nice and roomy so you can fit your thickest knit sweater underneath. I've already snapped this one up from Zara...

But now I want more!

A Bohemian life...

My bf constantly calls me his little nomad gypsy, playing off of my love of flowy clothing and wearing excessive amounts of jewelry at one time, my desire to travel anywhere and everywhere at a moments notice and my almost too laid back mentality. Of course, he is absolutely right! As a lover of all things hippie and gypsy inspired, I have always adored Nicole Richie's carefree, Bohemian and feminine style and was very delighted when she introduced her clothing line Winter Kate. Now in it's second season, the line has timeless appeal with easy to wear ethereal dresses and gorgeous separates that makes this wannabe gypsy very happy.

Living in this...

You know when you discover a new piece of clothing or an accessory and you basically live in it for the next 3 months and you wonder how you ever lived without this perfect piece before? Well my new perfect piece isn't exactly the most exciting or riveting find but I honestly don't know what I wore before I found it. It's a t-shirt; a simple, plain and very non-glamorous thing to be so pumped about, but I can't get enough of them! They are from the Gap, they are 100% cotton, they are so easy to wear, unbelievably soft and comfy, they come in the perfect array of colours and they are aptly named 'your favourite v-neck'.

Sunnie skies...

I am absolutely loving the sunny, cool and crisp days of Fall but it's made me realize I am in desperate need of some new sunnies! 'Desperate' of course is a strong word, I just really want some but don't really need them so I'm convincing myself it's an urgent situation... (I do this a lot.) I've had my eye on these guys...

A tangled, lovely mess...

Right now I'm going through a necklace phase while all of my pretty and rather abundant collection of earrings and bracelets are sitting there, pitifully collecting dust. It all started with this beauty from forever 21...

And then I had to have this one as well...

And now it's become an obsession...
